| The ore/oil carrier Morven in the Mississippi. Completed by the Felszegi yard in Trieste in 1961 she had been launched as Olin Mathieson for a company of that name and, although renamed before delivery, registered in London and seen in Denholm colours, was still owned by the same company. Fellow member Hald-Andersen advises that she was owned 1970-73 by Seaways Leasing Corp, (D/S Norden + D/S Orient + A/S Motortramp, Denmark), sold 1970 to Trimor Shipping, Monrovia, but retaining the name Morven throughout. In 1984 she was broken up. |
