the second of the BP fleet to bear the name. Built by Harland & Wolff, Glasgow, in 1949, (Yard No. 1379G). 12,328DWT, powered by a 6-cyl 4 S.C.S.A B&W oil engine developing 3,480bhp geared to a single shaft, manufactured by the ship builder. One of no less than 54 of this class built after WWII, and delivered to BP through until 1951. 14 of them were built by Harland and Wolff. May 1967 sold to Isaac Varela for demolition, sold on to L. E. Varela Davillo, Catellon, where demolition began on 18.05.67.
