Merry Viking

The Merry Viking arriving at Venice on the Hong Kong Container Line service from Busan, Yokohama, Hong Kong and Singapore to Venice via Jeddah. This service was operated with her sister, Muncaster Castle, and two similar ships from Ocean Shipping and Enterprises Ltd. Completed by Mitsubishi, Shimonoseki, in 1977 she was the last ship for Eric Moller's Red Anchor Line. Sold in 1981 she is currently trading as Zhong Yang Men. Although of 16,201 gross tons her container capacity was just 676 TEU's.
