Maid of Kent

Channel ferry Maid of Kent at Dover. Built by Denny's she was a car ferry intended for Dover - Boulogne service. A twin screw, turbine steamer she was designed to do 20.75 knots ahead and 15 knots astern. She could carry 1,000 passengers and 180 cars.
