Normand Vester |
Pictured off Ijmuiden on 13/08/2009. Built in 1998 by Ulstein Verft, Ulsteinvik, Norway (224) as an offshore supply vessel of 3,061 g.t. Now appears to be converted for well stimulation purposes. I have taken the following from the operators website and if anybody can shed further light on the subject, then please do! 'Set up primarily as a proppant fracturing vessel, the Normand Vester can be refitted as a dedicated acid fracturing vessel at short notice. The vessel is also capable of performing various scale squeeze, conformance and well control operations.' By kind permission of Willem Koper. Regards, Rick |
