Ship?s Yard: Eriskbergs Mekaniska Verkstads A/B, en G?teborg, Sweden Hull N? 526, launched the 24th of September of 1959 and named ?Tricolor?. In service the 8th of January of 1960 for Wilhelm Whilhelsem in Tonsberg. She has cabins to allow 9 passengers and in her first years of service in the sea, she navigated through the transatlantic lines linking Norway, North America and South America.
In October 1971 she was renmaed ?Troja? and for a time of another eight years continued under the service of this powerful norvegian owner covering lines in the Far East. In June 1978 was surveyed in South Korea waters and in January 1979 was purchased by the Compa??a de Navegaci?n Americana de Vapores SRL. Delivery of the ship took place at the port of Oslo, being flagged in Panama with the new name of ?Belalc?zar?.
In October 1980, this ship was sold to society Pacific International Lines (Pte), of Singapur, and renamed ?Kota Makmur?. The change of property was made at the port of Barcelona. From that moment on another five years would elapsed at the service of the new owner and in May 1985 was sold for scrapping. At the beginning of June she arrived at Yantai and was scrapped by the China National Metals & Minerals Import & Export Corp. staff.
She was a pretty Ship, well proportioned, with 9.997 gross tonnes, 5.925 net tonnes and 12.700 tonnes dwt; measures were 155,58 Mts LOA, 143,90 Mts Lpp, 12,65 B, 12,65 Mts D and 9,47 Mts maximun draught. This ship had of five holds - one of them frigorific of 953 Mts3 ? with a total capacity of 734.000 cubic meters of grain and 661.00 cubic meters in bales and one tank for the carriage of vegetable oil.
She was powered by a Burmeister & Wain Engine, of 12.700 HP on an axle - manufactured under the above mentioned Swedish Ship?s yard ? allowing her to keep a service speed of 19,50 Knots.
