After that, newbuildings for domestic fleet were very rare and with gaps of 5-6 years. Sava was launched on 15th June 1973. and delivered on 12th October 1973. After the ceremony in Rijeka she sailed for the first voyage to Atlantic City ( to load grain ), and her first Master was capt. Juraj Manjgotiæ. Another vessel of Jugolinija that spent the whole career under the same name; after almost 25 years in service, she went to the breakers in Alang, arrived there on 27th July, 1998.
