SEAGULL
SEAGULL
The unimaginativley renamed, former RAF Long Range Recovery and Support Craft vessel 'Seagully' is seen here at Las Palmas on 09/11/2006 but still sporting here former name over the wheelhouse.

Previously the 'Seagull', pennant number 5001, until that year, she had been sold to Nigerian interests along with a sister vessel, 'Seal'.

Both vessels had a longer than intended stopover for fuel and provisions while errr, final payments for both boats were awaited.

'Seagull' was built in 1970 by Fairmile Construction Ltd, Berwick-upon-Tweed and of 248 g.t.

Now registered as a Salvage vessel at Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
