Forum Niugini

The Forum Nuigini at Noumea. The Nickel I or II is alongside the nickle smelter in the background and the Polish ship Smolny lies ahead. Forum Nuigini was built by Sietas, Hamburg, in 1969 as Arosia for Peter Dohle and was lengthened in 1973. Renamed Forum Nuigini in 1979, Niugini Chief in 1980 and then had a succession of names. Now forty years old she is still sailing as Swee Long Satu and appears to be in good condition judging from some recent photos.
