HOLMLEA

The Holm Shipping Company vessel HOLMLEA laid up at the Patent Slip Wharf, Wellington during the mid 1970's. Built in Hong Kong in1967 for the Northern Steam Ship Co Ltd (Auckland) as the SEAWAY PRINCESS she was purchased by the Holm Shipping Co, in 1969. In 1970 she was charterd by the Union Co, who put her on the Wellington - Lyttelton service to assist their roro passenger ferry MAORI. The vessel was sold to Italian owners in 1975 and renamed ANNARITA SECONDA.
