WANAKA |
The WANAKA powers ahead on her sea trials off Hong Kong. She was the first Union Co, vessel to be fitted with a bulbous bow. The vessel was well appointed but only had a short carrier with Union Co, as a lack of trade meant she was sold in 1976 to Sealanes Transport Corp, Monrovia and renamed RATA HILLS. Over the years she changed owners and names - she was laid up under the name of BALBEK in Piraeus in 2000 |
