Built as fleet oiler. 1924 converted to seaplane tender. 5 November 1944 Notoro under repair in the drydock, is damaged heavily in the attack. She is taken out of service and reduced to a floating fuel oil storage tank for the remainder of the war. 1947 scrapped.
