LORD CITRINE was the second of 3 large (14000dwt) bulk colliers completed in 1985 by Govan Shipbuilders for the then Central Electricity Generating Board to bring coal to various discharge points for power stations. Her sisters were SIR CHARLES PARSONS and LORD HINTON. LORD CITRINE was launched on 5th June 1985 and this I took as she entered the water.
