CITY OF LONDON

CITY OF LONDON was one of 3 fine cargo liners built in 1970 for Ellerman Lines. Her two sisters, CITY OF LIVERPOOL and CITY OF HULL were built by the Caledon shipyard in Dundee and CITY OF LONDON came from Upper Clyde Shipbuilders' Scotstoun yard, the former Charles Connell establishment. This photo I took in Glasgow's King George V Dock in February 1973 on the occasion of a visit to her by our World Ship Society branch.
