EDT Protea

Built in 1991 by Flekkefjord Slip, Norway (148) as the seismic vessel 'Geco Sapphire''. 3,644 g.t. and 1,093 dwt. Sold in 2002 and converted / lengthened into a DP3 ROV/survey vessel at the Northern Yard, Gdansk, Poland. Additionally fitted with a new helideck, ROV hangar, 50 tonne crane capable of working at depths of 2,,500m and will accommodation for 70 - 90 persons. Renamed ''EDT Protea''.
