She entered N.A.A. service on 24th September 1962. Route: daily service (on different days): Trieste Capodistria Pirano Parenzo Rovigno Pola ( & back) / Trieste Capodistria Pirano Umago Cittanova ( & back ) / Trieste Capodistria Isola Pirano Umago ( & back ) - Occasional daily minicruises in summer (Trieste - Lussino).
She has been the main ship of the small fleet of N.A.A. (M/N Edra - M/N Dionea - M/N Ambriabella) which belonged to Giacomelli’s Group. Ing. Carlo Giacomelli was the owner of Cantiere Navale Felszegi and of a group of cargo shipping Companies.
In 1965 M/N Italia was built in his Shipyard.
