STENA PRIMORSK

A sign that the weather can abruptly change during our Québec winter is this view of 2006-built STENA PRIMORSK as shown while upbound on the St.Lawrence River off Verchères on January 31, 2007. Ususally I don't bother about photographing ships in less than ideal lighting conditions but when I set out to get this newest caller, the sun was still out and I had great expectations about the incoming photo shoot. In an instant, a snow squall appeared and I was left with these way below average shots. An hour later, the skies cleared once again so you can imagine my frustration... Marc Piché photo.
