GOLD STAR

GOLD STAR was the first of two VLCCs for Korean owners built by Lithgow's at Port Glasgow. This is her after her launch on 16th December 1970. She was sold in 1973 and renamed NICOS I VARDINOYANNIS and seems to have reverted to her original name possibly for the voyage to the breakers in Turkey in November 1986. Her sister was KING STAR.
