Clipper Cuillin and Osterschelde

Radcing inbound on the New Waterway, Rotterdam while passing the ´Maeslantkering´ storm surge barrier in the background, 07/09/2009. The chemical tanker ¨Clipper Cuillin´ was built by Yardimici, Tuzla, Turkey and completed by Gisan Gemi, Istanbul (30) in 2005 as the ´Crescent Cuillin´. Subsequently renamed ´Clipper Cuillin´ in 2007. The three master topsail schooner ´Oosterschelde´ was built in 1918 and has had an interesting series of owners and trading routes. Now restored she trades worldwide with passengers. Regards, Rick
