COLUMBIA
COLUMBIA
The bulk carrier Columbia arriving in Suez Bay. Obviously a T2 conversion I think she was the one completed by Kaiser in 1945 as Big Bend. In 1946 renamed Oleum and reverted to Big Bend in 1955 she became Triton in 1957 and Southampton in 1962, being enlarged and converted to a bulk carrier of 23,402 dwt tons that year. She became Columbia in 1963 and was broken up in Hong Kong in 1981.
