| As I can see the joy of you guys especially from Northern Adriatic, and record number of hits in just one day, here is another photo valuable for Croatian maritime history. Cargo liner Trsat is seen on the container terminal at Brajdica ( Rijeka ) in its early days. She was launched on 29th January, 1966 and delivered on 3rd June, 1966. Also spent the whole career under the same name, and survived Jugolinija ( renamed to Croatia Line ) for two months. After the last calls in Adriatic ( Šibenik and Ploèe ) in September 1991, she was engaged in short living service between ports of Brazil, Venezuela and Mexico. Made the last trip Chimbote - Kaohsiung before the end at the breakers yard in Alang; arrived there on 25th March, 1992. |
