Returning to port at Las Palmas on 09/02/2006. IMO 9158006. Built by Astilleros Zamakona SA, Santurce, Spain in 1998. 342 g.t. 5,000 KW main engines & 52 Tonne bollard pull. The abandoned ship, awaiting scrapping, in the background is the Alexandra, IMO 6701333. Built in 1966 by Santierul Navul , Galati, Romania as the Sergey Vasilyev for the USSR. 2,717 g.t. 3,516 dwt. 6 cyl. Fiat 2SA producing 2,900 bhp ( 2,133 KW). She was sold and renamed Vismark Victoria in 2000. Sold again in 2001 becoming Alexandra. Russian owners. Her surveys were overdue and she was abandoned by owner and crew shortly afterwards.
