Texaco Cristobal. Products tanker that I believe operated through the Caribbean and Amazon areas. A standard warbuilt design T1-M-BT2 Type tanker, Built by J.A. Jones Construction Co, Panama City, Florida. Built after WW2 in 1948 as the TANDORA, then had a number of names : MANVEL (1948), CRISTOBAL (1960),became the TEXACO CRISTOBAL in 1966 and sank as the CRISTOBAL in the Gulf of Suez after spring a leak in the engine room 24 Feb,1967 THANKS FOR THE PHOTO TO GORDON112
