French pass/cargo liner EL MANSOUR, imo 5100099/ 123m/ 5.818gt/ 20kn/ ?? pax; 05/1933 completed by Forges et Chantiers de la Mediterranee, La Seyne, for Compagnie de Navigation Mixte, Marseilles; 1937 EL MANSOUR, one of the two funnels was taken off; 03/1939 EL MANSOUR, French Government, who employed as troop ship; 10/1939 X6, French auxiliary cruiser; 06/1940 after the armistice, she was decommissioned in Marseilles;
01/1943 EL MANSOUR, seized by Germans and handed over to Italian Navy, who christened ANAGNI and she was scuttled at Marseiles. The ship still remains intact, by 12 meters deep, with a cottage of 85 degrees; 1963 MAINE, French Navy; 03/04/1974 target off Tahiti.
