TOFUA |
The TOFUA seen here berthed at Auckland during the early 1970s was owned by the Union Steam Ship Company. She was built in 1951 by Wm Denny & Bros, Ltd, Dumbarton. The vessel was employed in the NZ - Pacific Island trade and she had accommodation for 75 passengers plus 200 deck passengers while in the Island's. TOFUA was withdrawn from service in 1973 and sold becoming the TACK TAI. |
