ALBERTVILLE

The Compagnie Maritime Belge vessel Albertville completed at St Nazaire in 1928 with her sister Leopoldville following in 1929. Both were modernised in 1937 and given a single funnel. Albertville was sunk by German aircraft off Le Havre on 11 June 1940 while attempting to evacuate British and French troops.
