PRINCIPESSA IOLANDA

The 485 foot long PRINCIPESSA IOLANDA after a sea going career of less than an hour lays on the bottom of the harbour a wreck. The vessel was to have a passenger capacity of 1500 and a crew of 240.The superstructure was blown away and the boilers salvaged, the rest of the ship was abandoned.
