Empire Gannet

Lying alongside the jetty at Port Victoria, Labuan, North Borneo, Malaysia in 1966 4,820 gross tons Built as LST 3006 in 1945 Later became Royal Navy HMS Tromso before being named Empire Gannet in 1956 She was broken up in Singapore in 1968 The ship was used by the Ministry of Transport for providing supplies to HM Forces during the Malaysia/Indonesia confrontation of the mid-1960's
