Union Castle Line Built 1956 by Harland & Wolff 20,225 gross tons Initially she served on the route to the West Coast of South America for Pacific Steam Navigation Co. but later joined the Union Castle fleet sailing mainly as a cruise ship. In this view she is having some hull maintenance undertaken during the seamen's strike of 1966 Behind her is the Edinburgh Castle also of Union Castle Line
