British m/s ZEALANDIC, imo 1149300/ 152m/ 8.281gt/ twin screw/ pax 6; 03/1928 completed by Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson, Newcastle, for Shaw Savill & Albion Co., Ltd, Southampton, for its Australasian service; 16/01/1941 torpedoed and sunk by U-106 230 miles west northwest of Rockall Islet. 64 crew members, 2 gunners and 6 passengers abandoned the ship in 3 lifeboats but they were never seen again.
