B: 6,60 Mts D: 4,00 Mts Draught: 1,90 Mts This LSG (Lanchas de Servicio General General Service Speed Boat) was built in ASMAR Chilean Ships Yards and commissioned to the navy in the year 2000, this boat is part of the Proyecto Danubio developed by the navy through ASMAR (T). This plan consists in the building of 13 General Service Speed Boats, which will be in service in the General Direction of the Maritime Territory and Merchant Marine. The units are all equipped with high technology instruments, allowing them to patrol extensive areas in a short time and to reach high speeds. The LSG San Antonio, which home port is in the port of the same name, supports the control of the port and maritime activity, pleasure and light boats, as well as, performs a significative contribution by supporting to the isolated inhabitants. |
