Zealand, IDNo.5397989. Launched 10.11.1954 by Henry Robb, Victoria Shipyard, Leith,Yard No. 440. Completed September 1955 for Currie Line Ltd. Leith. 2,037 GRT, 292' 0" LOA, 45' 3¾" Breadth. Single screw, Diesel Engine, 12½ knots service speed. 1965 Lengthened to 317' 11", tonnage increased to 2,167GRT, 2,092DWT. 1969 Taken over by Anchor Line when they bought Currie Line complete with it's fleet. 1970 sold to the Maldives and renamed Maldive Envoy. 1981 Broken Up at Gadani Beach, work commenced 27th January.
