Scaled-down replica sternwheeler paddle steamer-Moyie-on a sightseeing trip around Glenmore Reservoir from Calgary's Heritage Park-26 September 09 The original vessel was owned by Canadian Pacific Railway and was used on a passenger service which connected settlements beside Kootenay Lake with the railhead at Nelson, BC in a long career spanning fifty nine years. The vessel was retired in 1957 and is now preserved at Kaslo, one of the communities once served. |
