The deep sea Belgian tug 'Alphone Letzer' arrived at Las Palmas on 12/04/2010 for bunkers. She was towing the Heerema barge H-404 from Vlissingen, Holland to Angola. Here she is departing the port, stern first, with assistance of the local tugs 'V.B.Balear' and 'V.B.Mediterraneo' to swing the tug and barge. H-4040 dimensions:- 122.0m X 36.6m X 7.6m (400ft X 120ft X 25ft). Maximum load capacity= 21,700 tonnes. Regards, Rick
