WELLINGTON RAIL FERRY TERMINAL

An early view of the Wellington Rail Ferry Terminal taken in 1966. Seen berthed at the terminal (Left) is the new ARANUI built in 1966 and at the linkspan is the ARAMOANA (1962) NZ's first roro.The ferries operating today have outgrown RFT1 and now berth adjacent to this berth.
