Passing Fischerhütte, Northbound, on the Kiel Canal on 01/09/2009. Catamaran, aluminium hulled research vessel, designated as a water measurement and laboratory vessel, operated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Areas for the State of Schleswig-Holstein. (Ministerium für Landwirtschaft, Umwelt und ländliche Räume). She was designed in 1982 specifically for the monitoring of coastal waters in the North and Baltic Sea and is equipped with as onboard laboratory. Regards, Rick
