this is a shot taken on the Clyde in 1978 when she operated there first as BOURNEMOUTH QUEEN on a ferry service between Ardyne Point which was an oil rig construction yard on the Clyde and Rothesay, Isle of Bute. Her main claim to fame occurred in 1977 when she took over from WAVERLEY after her grounding in July of that year. This shot was taken from WAVERLEY. |
