Portree II

Built 1951 by Wm Denny and Bros Ltd, Dumbarton. Construction is of steel and she was 70.5 x 21 x 3.5 feet. Original engines Gleniffer Engines, 2 oil, 4 SCSA, 4 cyl, 6in x 7in, 900rpm, 2:1 reduction gear. 2 bladed screws 8.8 knots at 160 bhp. Rebuilt in 1967-1968 she was converted to bow loading and new dimensions are 71 x 21 x 5.5 feet. New engines in 1969 were Perkins Engines. 2 oil, 4 SCSA, 6 cyl, 3.9in x 5in.
