Zhen Hua 23 |
but the horse had already bolted... -Zhen Hua 23- firmly held in position by wires, ropes, anchors and a tug for good measure on 03/03/2008. After being freed from grounding at Felixstowe's Landguard beach, she was manouvred back to the quay and secured. Having collided with and demolished two shore cranes, plus high winds closing the Port several times, there is a backlog of ships to deal with. A difficult piece of scheduling has to be made to allow the vessel to be shifted to Trinity Terminal in order that she can discharge the 3 undamaged cranes for the Port of Felixstowe. The last I heard was the tearing of hair and gnashing of teeth by the terminal container planners. Regards,Rick |
