kgvm ci comunica: "The small cargo ship in the foreground is the LIEUTENANT CORRIOL of 308 GRT. Built in 1891 as British SKINNINGROVE she was sold to French owners in 1895: PIERE-PAUL. 1900 to Iceland ISAFOLD. 1910 back to France: PRADO. 05.22 French LIEUTENANT CORRIOL, owned by J. Filippi, Marseille. 1923 or 1924 Greek ALPHA. 1930 Greek MARIA M. and the next year Greek CHARALAMBOS VAIANNIS. Since 1933 Turkish, first as H. ESREF, 1958 ISMAEL KAPTANOGLOU and 1977 KARAKALAYAR. 1997/98 deleted in Lloyd's Register

The first passenger vessel is the MUSTAPHA II of the Cie. de Navigation Mixte. Built in 1913 as THEODORE MANTE for the same company she was renamed in 1917. In 1933 she was rebuilt for carrying sheep and got the name DJEBEL-ANTAR, but still owned by Cie. de Navigation Mixte. Sold in 1937 to British owners she was renamed HELENDRA. 1938 sold to Panama, first with the name GATUN, then ALICE and at last MARGIT (all in 1938). She was bombed and sunk at Malta 19.4.41. The second one is very probably a ship of the GOUVERNEUR GÉNÉRAL-class."
