RAIL FERRY

The NZ rail ferry ARAMOANA battles her way out of Wellington, New Zealand into Cook Strait bound for Picton at the top of the South Island during the early 1960s. She was built in 1962 for New Zealand Railways and was the first roll on - roll off vessel to operated in NZ waters.
