Kestrel

At Las Palmas for bunkers, stores and a little crew relaxation after a long haul, on 29/11/2009. On route from Singapore via bunker calls at Mauritius and Walvis Bay towing the Chinese built, 97m length barge, “Miclyn 3319”, callsign “TC07” for Liverpool. Kestrel was built in 2008 by Kanagawa Dockyard, Kobe, Japan (575) 659 g.t. & 85 tonne bollard pull. The vessels intended name was “Iwaki Maru” but she was renamed & sold before completion.
