Esso Milford Haven

Seen in here in May 1986 on River Elbe. Built by A B Lindholmen Varv @ Gothenburg, O/N 6725016, Launched 31.8.67 and completed January 1968 for the Esso Petroleum Co.Ltd. Yard No.1104, British Registered. 17,803 DWT, 533' 7¼" LOA, 72' 2" Summer Draught 28' 3½". Powerd by 2 x 12 cyl 4 S.C.S.A. oil engines built by the shipbuilder and geared to a single shaft; 10,080 hp, service speed 16¼ knots. Tanks 5C & 8W, single pumproom with 4 pumps giving a maximum discharge rate of 2,400 t.w./hr. Butterworth 'K' tank cleaning system, closed loading system. Renamed Petro Milford Haven in 1994, and subsequently sold for scrap, arriving at Alang on 28th July 1996.
