SAINT RAPHAEL is seen in the Nieuwe Waterweg, outbound from Rotterdam, on 20th June 1979 bound for La Pallice to load for Italy.

Ex - PORTOVENERE - 68 (Italnavi Soc di Nav - until 1966 owned by "Sicilnaviglio" Soc di Nav pA)

Later: 1982 DEVONSHIRE (York Shipping Corporation, Lausanne, owned by Rolando Perasso, formerly of Siderma di Nav SpA)

Laid up at Setubal 30.7.82; sailed on 29.2.84 for Rostock but caught fire there on 10.3.84 with the sad loss of three of her crew. Sailed from Rostock in tow on 24.4.84 for Kiel. Sailed from Kiel on 26.7.84 in tow of tug HABBAS to be broken up in the Hanko-Naantali area of Finland.

She was instead hulked there and finally sent to Aliaga in Turkey for breaking, beached there on 2.8.88.
