Long standing stalwart of the Clyde's Gourock- Dunoon service, JUPITER and her sister JUNO entered service in 1974 after completion by James Lamont's yard at Port Glasgow.
This shot was taken in JUPITER's first weeks showing the livery worn then and before the "flying bridge" was fitted for better visibility.
JUNO was taken out of service in 2007 and is used for spares to keep JUPITER going.
