The picture shows her waiting to load coal on the River Tyne, in the north of England.
The ship was built at Malmo in Sweden in 1920 for G.A.Bratt, who named her Burgundia. She stayed with these owners for over 40 years until sold in 1961. In 1961 she was bought by Jakobson (Malta) Ltd. Valletta, who renamed her San Pawl. In 1964 she was sold to Malta Maritime Services Ltd. and renamed Robertina.
On 17th August 1967 she put into Kristiansand with engine trouble, she was never repaired but sold to Norweigian shipbreakers who had her towed to Grimstad on 26th September to be broken up.
The ship spent most of her life carrying timber from Baltic ports, often returning with cargoes of coal or coke from the UK.
