BLACK PRINCE

BLACK PRINCE and her sister BLACK WATCH were both built in 1966 at Lubeck.She operated on a joint Bergen Line service from the Tyne as VENUS sometimes if I remember correctly. This shot was taken in 1985 when as BLACK PRINCE she visited Glasgow on a Round Britain cruise and this was taken as she left outbound under the Erskine Bridge. She has been altered in recent years but is still recognisable and is a popular cruise ship and is a fairly regular caller on the Clyde at Greenock.
