SUNETNA
Previous Next
SUNETNA off South Wales in July 1961. Photo by the late Des Harris - copyright Malcolm Cranfield. SUNETNA was built at Palermo, Italy, in 1958 for Industria Marittima Sicula SpA (managed by Adolfo Porta Figari, Genoa), also the owners of SUNPALERMO. On termination of the charter to Saguenay in 1964 she was sold to China and, managed from Hong Kong, was renamed JOLLITY. From 1977 she was managed from Guangzhou as HONG QI 118 and is thought to have then traded locally until 1993.
