Portuguese steel tug MARIALVA, 26,10m/ 119gt/ 9,5kn; 1937 completed by H. Parry & Sons, Lda., Ginjal, Lisbon, as ANTÓNIO SERRA for ??; 06/02/1945 MARIALVA, Pascoais Unidos, Lda, Oporto; 195_ MARIALVA, Sofamar – Sociedade de Fainas do Mar e Rio, Sarl, Lisbon; 07/12/1959 whilst on Setubal/Oporto passage towing lighters CANTANHEDE and MICAELENSE with a full cargo of cement was sunk together with those lighters in heavy storm 2nm west Oporto, with loss of 17 men of the three boats, when making Leixões for shelter.
