In April 1973 the stern section of NAESS SCOTSMAN which was to be the first of four 250000dwt VLCCs built in two sections and joined afloat as opposed to a drydock was launched from the Glen Yard of the Scott- Lithgow Group at Port Glasgow.
This is the after end waiting for its big moment.
